Executive Vice President, Performance Chemicals

Mr. van Haasteren, a Master in Business Economics from the Eramus University Rotterdam, is a veteran in the petrochemicals industry having worked with SABIC and DSM for 22 years after 3 years with KPMG.

Before his present assignment, he was SABIC Vice President LLDPE/LDPE, Polymers SBU, and earlier General Manager Polyolefins Marketing, Polymers SBU. He has held various positions in SABIC Europe including Managing Director Polymers, Board Member, Business Unit Director LLDPE/LDPE, and Director of Sales Offices.
